The Underground Music Showcase, or UMS, takes place in the city of Denver Colorado on South Broadway Street where you can walk from venue to venue listening to the amazing sounds of hundreds of the different artists and musicians that Denver has to offer. Rub shoulders with new and upcoming artists, enjoy the drinks the venues have to offer and walk the street like you’ve never seen it before. With an event as exciting as this, you’re bound to have a hard time getting tickets. We’re here to help you find out just how to get them.
What you need to do first:
The hardest thing about getting tickets is knowing when they will go on sale and it’s even harder when you can’t sign up for a newsletter to find out. By looking at past years, we noticed that tickets typically went on sale in mid February, meaning you should have your eyes peeled for all announcements at least a month before. To do so, you should follow UMS on Twitter and Facebook so you don’t miss out on any announcements. You can even download the UMS App to stay caught up in all the latest news regarding the showcase.
After you’ve followed them on social media there isn’t much you can do but wait for tickets to go on sale. Although, it might be helpful to read up on what to expect when at the festival.
UMS takes place in Downtown Denver in various venues along Broadway. Here is a list of the venues:

- Ross Broadway Branch Library
- Illegal Petes – Inside

There is limited parking throughout the Denver area and there is a small amount of reserved parking places. See them here. Instead of driving they suggest you take an Uber, the bus, or bike in so you don’t overcrowd the showcase area and the surrounding neighborhoods. Parking is not allowed in the neighborhoods surrounding the venue locations, and they ask you to be courteous when walking nearby.
UMS will be offering two 4-day wristbands per household to the surrounding residents of the festival area. Tickets are at $25 and are well worth the price. To see if you are in the boundaries to receive discount tickets click here.
All other information will be given as the festival date draws closer
I hope the information we’ve provided this far has been helpful. Check back here closer to the festival and we will have more information about wristbands, lineups, and more!
