To know what the ticket markets are doing for certain shows, StubHub is the best reference to see what tickets are selling for on the secondary market.
For certain tours, I will track weekly how much tickets are in the upper level, lower level and floor are selling for. That way, you can see if ticket prices are increasing or decreasing each week. The day of the show, I will also post close to what the final numbers are. All prices will be listed for pairs and not single tickets.
This will help you know what happens from onsale of an event to the day of show and see if my theories are right that it is best to wait until the day of the show.
